Stone Atelier is an upscale salon with an inviting atmosphere, conveniently located in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle, Washington.

Owner, Sonja Dahlin is a 30-year hair colorist with 32 years of salon industry experience. Stone Atelier's goal is to create an upscale salon experience with a non-intimidating, neighborhood salon atmosphere. Our team includes departmentalized color and haircutting specialists which allows us to focus our attention on the skills we perform best. We welcome you to our intimate space for couture haircutting and coloring services.

We have visiting artist, who are master stylist that we’ve worked with 20 years or more that will be taking appointments at Stone Atelier. Jennifer Johnson worked with all of us at Gene Juarez Salons for many years as a haircutting specialist. Jennifer has spent her last 12 years in Austin,Texas doing hair with other esteemed hairstylist also from Seattle. We are so lucky to have her now on our rotating schedule of out of town,well vetted artist! See Jen at our LFP location 11/ 17 and 11/20,Seattle location 11/18 and 11/19! Featured Seattle Artist Solè

Meet Solè — She has been in the industry for over 20 years, including 10 years as part of an Artistic Team creating looks for runway shows and magazines.  Utilizing her professional training in Paris, she has mastered the craft of balayage/highlighting with specialty in custom and corrective color. 

While maintaining the integrity of the hair, she enjoys highlighting the natural beauty in all of her clients. Solè’s knowledge of the latest fashion trends is something she looks forward to sharing with her guests.
